Metamorphosis Alpha Complex

So while I'm not the first person to have this idea, I'm this first one postulating it for a "Straight" setting, in which the players are trapped in this dystopian setting of Alpha Complex, not realizing they are actually floating in space above the Warden.

Over the campaign, they would eventually come into contact with Illuminati society members who know part of the truth.

The Warden computer created the Alpha Complex computer after the accident to recreate the human species through cloning and eugenics, weeding out the weak and stupid, while teaching them to be constantly on alert. Unfortunately the Alpha Complex computer was hacked by one of its test subjects, and cut itself off from the Warden Computer.

The Alpha Complex itself does not appear on the maps because the Warden computer wanted to create an isolated testing grounds.

The Complex lies in the middle of the Warden, 8 miles high, 17 miles long by 8 miles wide. Each sector covers approximately 100 miles of area. Th uppermost level is "The Outdoors" a complex outdoor simulation.

Also, I would be running this game as FATE of the Complex utilizing the Fate Core rules.

Strategicon Incoming!!!

While Strategicon is incoming, we won't be there this weekend unfortunately. 16th Birthday presents and 2 new tires sunk that slim hope.

In other news, EsCon 3 weeks ago was pretty fun. Just hung out playing games with the boys on Saturday, had a trip over to Broken Token for burgers, and a tour of the facility. Amazing how fast they can crank out those products, and how fast they're growing.

Missed Nerd Con but I heard it was pretty fun from several people I know, so will definitely try to hit it next year.

In other news, expect my Questfor18con blog to return. After my injuries and then the long hours of work I was doing as I took over the CAD Manager position at my work, I ended up putting on 25Lbs of fat and then some...(the some being the extra weight from muscle loss). Tipping the scales at 250 lbs at 5'7" was pretty hardcore on my joints; and really bad for my personal morale, pile on top of that the Rockstar addiction I was nursing and my brain was trashed.

I've been off the Rockstars and back at the gym for 7 weeks now. I'm drinking a protein shake for breakfast and dinner while having a sensible lunch. I dropped to 234 as of Saturday, marking 16 lbs of weight loss, while I've been packing on muscle again. I'm looking to hit 205, and we'll see where to go from there.

I'll be focusing on my writing for the MalMart catalog, and once that's done, The Clearspring Gazette will be my top priority.

Anyway that's it for now.
