Savage Rifts - Titan Juicer

Here's a QUICK conversion of one of the Juicer OCCs from Rifts Worldbook #10 - Juicer Uprising

You will still need your Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide, and reference to the Rifts book. (The standard rules apply except as follows)

This is the Quick Conversion for the Titan Juicer.

The Titan Juicer
Titan Juicers are the strongest of Standard Juicers.

The Burn
Titan Juicers burn out much faster. Titan Juicers must begin with Burn 8 with a d12 roll for the session burn roll, however, burn rolls are still rolled with a d10.

Super Endurance: Titan Juicers begin with +2 Vigor die types, with no Trait maximum. They require only half the normal amount of sleep, and gain +2 on all Fatigue checks. Titans Hard to Kill Edge and a +2 bonus to soak rolls.

„Super Reflexes: Titan Juicers begin with +1 Agility die type, with no Trait maximum.

Super Speed: Titan Juicers are faster than their bulk indicates. They have the Fleet-Footed Edge (d10 running die).

Super Strength: Titan Juicers begin with +3 Strength die types, with no Trait
maximum. They also begin with the Brawny Edge and are considered to have Supernatural Strength.

Enormous: Titan Juicers are massive 8 feet in height and upwards of 700 pounds in mass. They are Size 3 (and +3 Toughness).

Standard Complications PLUS:
Massive Build: The species has a physical build which makes it difficult to wear armor or operate vehicles. Armor must be custom-designed and fitted, at least doubling purchase and repair costs. Operating a vehicle not refitted for the species is done at a −2 for all Trait checks, including firing vehicular weapons.

This should be fairly balanced with the Standard Juicer. Let me know what you think.

Savage Rifts - Phaeton Juicer

Here's a QUICK conversion of one of the Juicer OCCs from Rifts Worldbook #10 - Juicer Uprising

You will still need your Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide, and reference to the Rifts book.  (The standard rules apply except as follows)

This is the Quick Conversion for the Phaeton Juicer

The Phaeton Juicer
Phaeton Juicers were developed as combat pilots, designed to withstand G forces that would kill a normal human.

The Burn
Phaeton Juicers use the standard burn rules.

Super Endurance: Phaeton Juicers begin with +2 Vigor die types, with no Trait maximum. They require only half the normal amount of sleep, and gain +2 on all Fatigue checks.

„Super Reflexes: Phaeton Juicers begin with +3 Agility die types, with no Trait maximum. They have Uncanny Reflexes, granting them −2 to be hit by all attacks. Finally, they begin with the Quick.

Super Speed: Phaeton Juicers are quick, doubling their base Pace.

Super Strength: Phaeton Juicers begin with +1 Strength die types, with no Trait
maximum.

Push the Envelope: Phaeton are physically and mentally conditioned to pilot. Gain the Combat Ace edge.

Standard Complications

(Conversion - Dropped +1 Strength die to +1 Agility die, Dropped Fleet of foot to gain Combat Ace)

Savage Rifts - Hyperion Juicer

Here's a QUICK conversion of one of the Juicer OCCs from Rifts Worldbook #10 - Juicer Uprising

You will still need your Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide, and reference to the Rifts book.  (The standard rules apply except as follows)

The Hyperion Juicer
Hyperion Juicers are the fastest of Juicers. With increased metabolisms and even shorter lifespans.

The Burn
Hyperion Juicers burn out much faster. Hyperion Juicers must begin with Burn 8 with a d12 roll for the session burn roll, however, burn rolls are still rolled with a d10.

Super Endurance: Hyperion Juicers begin with +2 Vigor die types, with no Trait maximum. They require only half the normal amount of sleep, and gain +2 on all Fatigue checks.

„Super Reflexes: Hyperion Juicers begin with +3 Agility die types, with no Trait maximum. They have Uncanny Reflexes, granting them −2 to be hit by all attacks. Finally, they begin with the Quick, Quick Draw, and Level Headed Edges.

Super Speed: Hyperion Juicers cover enormous ground quickly, doubling their base
Pace+2. They also have the Fleet-Footed Edge (meaning they have Pace of 20” with a d10 running die).

Super Strength: Hyperion Juicers begin with +2 Strength die types, with no Trait
maximum. They also begin with the Brawny Edge.

Standard Complications PLUS:
Dependency (Food): The Hyperion Juicer must consume twice as much food as normal. If they don’t eat enough they become automatically Fatigued each day until they’re Incapacitated. A day
after that, they perish. Each hour spent recovering with the appropriate substance restores a level of Fatigue.

Over-React: Hyperion Juicers tend to over-react, often striking out when surprised. Whenever someone surprises the Hyperion, they must make a  Spirit Roll to not strike out blindly.  (As determined by Gamemaster).

EpicRPGBlog & Inktober 2016

So for Inktober this year I decided to use the prompts for mayhem. And by Mayhem I mean Paranoia.

As in Paranoia RPG. I have so far created 26 paper minis capturing the insanity of Alpha Complex.

If you want to see them now, check out my Instagram @epic_rpg_blog

Those are the rough sketches, after Inktober is over I can start formatting them and present them as free paper minis.

Here's a sample...

Savage Rifts first session in the books.

Our first Session at home is in the books.

It was a very good refresher for Savage Worlds. I realized some of the rules aren't on that main Reference Sheet. Notably Linked Weapons.

Linked Automatic Weapons are BRUTAL!!! Twin Linked mini rail guns do considerable damage, Twin Linked Heavy Rail Guns are insane. 5d10+4 damage. Rip thru a Triax X-500 Forager in 1 shot.

Since Ian's Juicer took both Rich/Filthy Rich, and was a part of the Juicer Uprising, I ended up giving him a Mk V APC for his 'any vehicle roll'.

It is definitely a monster of a Vehicle.

Which is good, because a fully armed and manned Coalition one should give them pause.

The Boom gun on the Glitter boy is CRAZY.

Confusion that has the automatic Raise built in, is going to be an crazy power. (This is represented by insane babbling by my wife's Crazy.) That's a -4 on the smarts roll. That's almost a guaranteed fail with even d6 smarts.

Overwatch sucked into a Rift...

For running Convention games, I think Savage Rifts can be EXTREMELY fun. I like to present characters that Players can really relate to, and Savage Worlds is an Amazing engine for converting those characters into said game.

I will be converting lots of characters over the next few months, but I'm going to enlist the kids into helping convert the Overwatch characters into Savage Rifts Characters.

As i've mentioned before I have started on a Deadpool CRAZY who found a comic book after his MOM Conversion and now suffers the Delusion of being Deadpool.

Many of the characters are easy conversions.

Pharah - MARS Power Armor
Genji - Full Conversion cyborg
McCreed - MARS Headhunter with a BigBore revolver.

Etc.
